Ravenous
January 21, 2010
I am ravenous and so I have decided to update this neglected blog. The only reason we have neglected this blog is because we are too busy eating, really.
On my to-do list for this semester:
-Ippodu Ramen (East Village)
-Clinton Street Bread Company for brunch
-Easy Mac -duck confit mac and cheese, anyone?
-RESTAURANT WEEK (We’re making this dream come true!)
I will try and write more when I am satiated and more coherent.

To Do List
October 5, 2009
1.) Dessert Truck- I just read that what was once the Dessert Truck now has a permanent home in the LES. While I’m kinda sad that we won’t get to twitter the truck’s location and go find it and eat dessert from a truck (not soft serve ice cream) I am happy that we will at least be able eat their raved about desserts.

2.) Vendy Winners-Also, we should try out the winners of this years Vendy’s for some cheap, but, rated food. http://streetvendor.org/vendys/
3.) JAMES FRANCO. Nuff said.

An inefficient system
October 5, 2009
Ladies, I think we can all agree that immediate post-meal blogging is completely out of the picture. I mean, this is what we look like after pretty much every meal:

I wasn’t able to collect my thoughts regarding last night’s meal until now. Penne alfredo with grilled shrimp, compliments of Kyle and her wonderful grill/frying pan/panini thing. I’m still not sure what M’s deal with the broccoli was, but I think she was just bitter about all the times we “forgot” to tell her we were having cupcakes.

Don’t worry O, we got our dose of greenery. Not sure how fresh it was by this point, considering I carried around this fucking bag of salad (and a baguette, to boot) in my purse all day long, but Ken’s (who is Ken?) delicious parmesan peppercorn dressing definitely covered up any sketchy bits.

And of course, what better way to end (or begin, whatever) a meal than with cupcakes? These were from Magnolia, which definitely trumps Crumbs. Still not sure whether they beat the mini ones – this is still up for debate. Here M was about to shed tears of joy because it was the first time we ever had cupcakes as a threesome.

True enough, they are better enjoyed with friends. Otherwise you just end up like this, which, really, is just frightening. Oktoberfest beer compliments of Brooklyn, M’s current hood.

Ok. I am attempting to detox. Must stop talking about food. Your turn, girls.

Cupcakes, not cuntface

Delirious, delicious. Same thing. Too many cupcakes, shrimp and Oktoberfests.
M nods her head in assent. Still debating use of the term itis – will get back to you later.
Hi Olga, May, Lee, Char, Mags, Justus and Jeb (honorary ladies) — let the eating begin. We’re doing this for you.
